ISO 14001 Awareness Training

The aim of this course is to familiarize with the fundamental topics of Environmental Management Systems and the ISO 14001 Standard. This is an introductory course in the Environmental Management series of courses developed by URS ME. On successful completion, the participants should have a reasonable understanding of Environmental Management System and ISO 14001 requirements.

• An introduction to the environmental issues, historic evolution and approaches to EMS
• Introduction to basic concepts and terminologies associated with EMS
• Philosophy and fundamental principles of ISO 14000 series
• Detailed review of the requirements of ISO 14001 EMS standard
• Introduction to the benefits that may be achieved by the implementation of ISO 14001
• Effective methods for the implementation of ISO 14001 EMS

• All levels of management who are involved in implementing ISO 14001 EMS
• All those who are interested personally to learn about EMS

• URS ME courses are held at hotels and can be held at customers premises if required
