Fleet Line Shipping awarded ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Certifications

URS Middle East has awarded ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 18001:2007 certifications to Fleet Line Shipping Services LLC, a Dubai based end-to-end logistics services provider. These certifications demonstrate the company’s commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its operations and promote a corporate culture of safety among its employees.

The company offers various end-to-end logistics services including cargo lashing, securing systems, industrial cargo packing, in-country logistics, in places like Iraq and CIS countries, some of which require special transportation solutions over uneven terrains. A lot of these operations attract multiple challenges from an environmental, health and safety perspective. In order to mitigate risk and overcome these challenges, it became pertinent for Fleet Line Shipping to establish a framework of systems and processes which complies with globally accepted standards for reducing environmental impact and promoting a culture of health and safety. URS Middle East was appointed to conduct the neccesary appraisals of its existing procedures, align them with global HSE standards and help achieve the certifications.
